Due to my urgent trip home for my granny's funerals there will be no posts for some time. Hope I will get there in time to kiss her good-bye.

Chantal Thomass, FW 2012

Fabulous Chantal Thomass presented some new photos featuring her FW 2012 lingerie collection shot by Ellen von Unwerth. The Casanova and merry Versailles ladies-in-waiting styled models wear truly gorgeous lingerie.

Kitty-kitty-kitty-cat Ma mignonnette

The London-based brand reveals its new Pussycat's Tea Party collection. They are obviously right, women are like cats, nice and fluffy but beware of the sharp claws of theirs. Enjoy the video, the pics are under the cut.

not in the mood :(

I haven't posted anything for a long time by now. The first reason is being busy but the second and the right reason is that I'm not in the mood. And why I'm not in the mood, you can read it in my livejournal blog, and another thing is that I'm not going to Malta as I was dreaming and secretly planning. This fact adds to the disappointment of the last days. To cheer myself up and most importantly you, Angel, I send you this song. It helps me to start dreaming of the way I can actually spend time on Malta when I finally arrive there.

Being a strong advocate of strict definition and specialization I do not like much brands that enter into each and every sector of clothing. Usually it results in failures like producing good clothing but absolutely terrible shoewear or vice versa. But this Italian brand proves me wrong as this is this rare case when you step into the shop and you get dressed from head to toes and even more, I mean you can even choose lingerie and swimwear which will definetely make you feel special and noticed on the beach.

Fred&Ginger, SS 2012, Candy and King Midas Collections

The fine lingerie industry may probably be  called one of Britain's natural wealth resources as in no other country there is THAT rich variety or better say abundance of lingerie brands. It's been already mentioned that recent years have marked a boom in the British fine lingerie design and production sector. The important thing here is that it's not big corporations that are ahead right now but independent brands that create high quality hand-made lingerie. So the small amount of lingerie is that's what makes them more attractive to the  clients who are looking for something more personal, intimate, custom-tailored, self-oriented, probably limited, not something that is made on a high scale and non-stop production line.
Fred&Ginger lingerie brand is one of those that offers women this feeling of being part of something luxurious and something that belongs to a special occasion. I would like to present you two collections - Candy and King Midas which was inspired by the Greek mythology. Each and every item is named after the characters of antique stories and is literally shining as the material contains golden thread inclusions.

The moment I saw the photos of the new collection I thought at once, "The spring is finally here". Absolutely fresh and lovely.

Coco Cavaliere

Coco Cavaliere - under this French name hides a German brand producing lingerie that gives me that nice vintage feeling shiver as I look at their collection. The 40s-50s are nicely transferred into the modern reality.

Fleur of England

Presenting you some new collections by Fleur of England. The latest collection Dash of lime is very trendy, it's not the pastel lemon colour but the neon one. But my personal sympathy is with the Naked collection.

Intenzioni, SS 2012

This time the Italian brand had gone some bold colours like bright fuchsia and blue. But I pointed out that white tulle draped wedding set and the black one with an extremely interesting neck decoration.

Andres Sarda, FW 2011

This is a very late post too. Presenting you the lingerie collection of the previous season by the Spanish fashion house of Andres Sarda that was inspired by the 50's chic and some pieces, for example the body with the dragon, was created in partnership with glamboyant Rossy de Palma not after "The girl with the dragon tattoo" but after the dragon tattoo that Rossy has on her arm.

CBG for Etam

This year Cherry Blossom Girl's fans rejoiced as their idol launched her second lingerie collection for Etam. Me too, I rejoiced as I absolutely love what this girl does. This time she was not only a candy-sweet girl in beige and lovely flowers but also a very sexy femme fatale in black. Love all the three undercollections and longing for  a new collaboration.

Have you ever thought of a tattoo on your body? I guess, yes but not all of us want it to stay FOREVER. From now on there is a solution and it comes from the British brand Tatu Couture that offers us unusual lingerie with mesh "tattooed" parts - there are inscriptions or prints that when looking from distance give an impression of tattoes on your body. Nice decision for those who want a tattoo for let's say one night only.

The beach season is approaching so I would like to present you the swim- and beachwear collection of probably my favourite brand Caffe. The sea, the sun, what else do we need? Ah yes, a good bikini!

Les Jupons de Tess, SS2012

I've always admired this French lingerie brand for being genuinely boudoir and courtesan in style. But with the collections of the two last seasons I got disappointed. I do not know what happened to LJT (or maybe it's me) but I do not feel that mysterious sensual atmosphere that was created by them earlier (I mean the feel that I got when I first saw their FW2010-2011 collection). So the question is, what's wrong? Is it you or is it me? Or is it the models that do not manage to give me that feel?

This British lingerie brand creates great lingerie, lounge- and swimwear, a mixture of exquisite lace and silk, with a little touch of retro, just enough to make it chic and not old-fashioned.

Marlies has gone East this time drawing inspiration from the Asian crouching tigers, paper lanterns and bonsai and stone gardens.

For me Ritratti is a kind of aristocratic brand among the rich variety of lingerie labels. Every collection is the proof of it. The woman in Ritratti's lingerie is like a jewel in a crown - noble, sophisticated and extremely elegant, beyond times - sparkling softly and mysteriously in the dim light.

I got mesmerized the moment I saw the photos of this magnificent light as a feather lace lingerie by an American bride gowns designer Claire Pettibone.Sophistication, dreamy beauty, tenderness, words fail me anyway, it's undescribable.

A very long coming back!
